1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Pefi ("the App"), you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Pefi is a personal finance and risk management application that provides:

• Income and expense tracking
• Asset tracking (bank accounts, investments, crypto, property)
• Manual balance updates for all assets
• Trading risk calculation tools
• Financial health scoring
• Data export capabilities

3. Disclaimer

You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. The App's risk calculations and suggestions should not be considered as financial advice. Always conduct your own research and consult with qualified professionals before making investment decisions.

4. User Accounts and Data

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account
• All activities under your account
• The accuracy of information you provide
• Creating backups of your data

5. Subscription Terms

• Free trial: 3 days, no credit card required
• Payment is processed by Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) through their native in-app purchase systems, managed via RevenueCat
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
• Manage and cancel your subscription through App Store or Google Play account settings
• Refunds are subject to Apple's or Google's refund policies
• Prices may change with 30 days notice

6. Data Collection and Storage

Your financial data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. The only information that leaves your device is:

• Email address (for support requests only)
• Subscription receipt tokens, verified with Apple or Google via RevenueCat — we never receive your payment details
• Device ID for subscription validation only

All other data (transactions, wallets, trades, goals, budgets, risk profiles) remains on your device. Manual export backups are stored wherever you choose to save them — we do not have access to them.

7. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

• Use the App for illegal activities
• Attempt to breach security measures
• Reverse engineer the application
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Resell or redistribute the service

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pefi and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of the App
• Trading losses or financial decisions
• Unauthorized access to your data
• Errors or inaccuracies in calculations

9. Data Accuracy

While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that:

• Manually entered asset values are accurate
• Risk calculations are error-free
• Third-party APIs are always available

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland and the European Union. As a developer based in the EU, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Poland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable local law. If you are located in a different country, your local consumer protection laws may also apply.
