Refund Policy

1. Overview

McJohnson sells digital advertising placements — an intangible digital service delivered online. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, who acts as Merchant of Record for all transactions. This policy explains when refunds are and are not available.

2. Digital Service — No Physical Goods

Ad placements on mcjohnson.website are entirely digital. There is no physical product, no download, and no shipment involved. Your placement is activated on the site within 24 hours of payment confirmation and remains live for the duration of the purchased period (12 months for the annual plan).

3. General Refund Policy

Because digital advertising placements are delivered immediately upon activation, all sales are final once your ad has gone live on the site.

We are unable to offer refunds in the following situations:

  • Your ad has already been activated and is live on the site
  • More than 48 hours have passed since payment was made
  • You have changed your mind after the ad went live
  • Your ad received fewer clicks or impressions than expected (we do not guarantee traffic volume)

4. Eligible Refunds

A full refund may be issued in the following circumstances:

  • You request cancellation within 48 hours of payment and your ad has not yet been activated
  • We are unable to deliver the agreed placement due to a technical failure on our side
  • You were charged in error (duplicate payment, wrong amount, etc.)

To request a refund under any of the above circumstances, email ads@mcjohnson.website within 48 hours of payment with the subject line "Refund Request" and include your order reference number.

5. Partial Refunds

Partial refunds are not offered. If your placement has been live for any portion of the agreed period and you wish to cancel early, no refund will be issued for the remaining unused time.

6. How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are processed via Paddle. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer. Paddle's own refund terms also apply.

7. Disputes & Chargebacks

We ask that you contact us directly at ads@mcjohnson.website before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Fraudulent chargebacks will be contested.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
